In late February 2013, Associate Director Brian Brauer visited northern Europe to meet with one of IFSI's partners and to attend two days of research collaboration meetings at Vrije University in Amsterdam. There Brauer attended two sets of meetings, the first with practitioners from around the Netherlands, and the second with researchers from the UK, UI, Finland, and the Netherlands. The end result was the development of a multi-national research agenda, which will aid the universities and practitioners in grant applications for the EU and sources to further research goals in common issues.
